You can pass the width/height when creating the image.
Or are you referring to the built-in integrations (not using it as a library)?

I tried resizing with this syntax:

but it didn’t change the image size.

What would be a valid way to specify width/height in this case?

For me too, I use backend=kitty btw. The image appears tiny and I can't resize it in any way.

I have just figured out that the problem occurs only for webp images.

Happens to me too. ![image|1000](imagelink) doesn't work either
