Synthesize actionable knowledge of therapeutics and vaccine therapies for end-users

The key words are synthesize and actionable

We want to help policy-makers and other end-users understand the massive amount of new research being conducted on COVID-19, specifically how we can treat it. With this information overload, we are in a unique position to help out with this effort thanks to the Kaggle CORD-19 challenge and our incredible community at CoronaWhy.

Focus on the end-user

We should always be thinking about who would use this and why. While the most modern, exciting ML projects are certainly... exciting, we have to be careful to ensure that someone would want to use our final deliverables. If we can present and distill the information from the literature smartly, we will already be making a huge contribution

Openness

The whole CoronaWhy enterprise was built from the ground up by people who care about this planet-scale health crisis we are all experiencing. This is a truly unique, historical moment to leverage our talents and abilities to make a big impact. In that spirit, we welcome all ideas and comments for how we can be doing the best job possible to help fight this virus.
