Inclusion of "Sum" option to load imageries

Hi all,

There are already the classic options of "max over all frames" and such but could we include a "sum" option that takes all images and sums them? It would also have to ignore the datatype precision such that it can be larger than 2^16 or 2^32. Thoughts?

There is already an average function, so you can just multiply by the number of frames.
