Q7 Max cannot connect to WiFi anymore #2455

I suppose that might be because it just checks if it can talk to the cloud to trigger that. This is probably just some kind of networking issue. Idk maybe new update to your router by your ISP or something like that. |

Are you already using Valetudo?
Yes, for a long time
Your questions
Hello!
I installed Valetudo on my RoboRock Q7 Max in 2024 and had it so far running flawlessly.
The robot currently runs on Valetudo 2025.12.0.
Today I noticed that the robot dropped out of WiFi. This happened before, so I tried resetting the WiFi (pushing and holding the two outer buttons) and connecting it again.
Resetting the WiFi works - I can join the robots WiFi and enter my Wifi credentials. However, even after the robot says "Mit WLAN verbunden" (German for "Connected to WiFi") I checked my router and see that it is not connected.
To rule out some problem on my router, I tried creating a new Network on my router and also creating a hotspot on my phone. None of that worked, the behaviour is always the same: the robot says: "Mit WLAN verbunden" but would not really join the network.
I also tried entering some invalid ESSID/password combination, even then the robot says "Mit WLAN verbunden".
Is there anything I can do?
I guess I could access the robot via SSH, but I don't know what to change there, except I could edit some wpasupplicant.conf file, which is, however not recommended, according to the setup guide.
Can you please help me?
Thank you in advance.
This topic seems to be related to this discussion (#2204), however, the other one seems strongly related to DreaMe models...
