Hi,
when I use my robot every day, then everything is fine. If I use it 2 days after the last cleaning, I might be unable to connect via the WebUI / App. The robot is reachable again after rebooting in most cases. I checked dmesg via ssh but can't find anything that would worry me.

The WebUI showed the following message:

Valetudo ran into a problem and reincarnated itself. This should never happen.

RSS 281.27 MiB exceeding the safe limit of 280.85 MiB.

This message was received 20 hours ago according to the WebUI. I am not sure if this is related at all. Any idea why the robot isn't reachable sometimes? Is there anything I can do to put more light on this?

I too got that not-being-reachable-on-wifi occasionally during development, but did not find any root cause.

It doesn't seem Valetudo-related to me, but rather just the very broken state of that Midea firmware.

Actually, "unrelated" might be imprecise here.
It is not the cause, but could be caused by the issue you're seeing.

I did not expect that to appear after such a short uptime. This points at the issue in #2501 possibly not being in native code

Checking #2501 inspired me to update the firmware version to 549 (was 490). There were also other updated elements like station and MCU. I will monitor now if anything changes. I think I did not complete the initial install process by executing /userdata/dust_update/installer.sh until it deletes itself and getcwd fails.

The robot was reachable after it hasn't been used for 3 full days. So I assume updating the firmware was the trick.
