We have been using the BV-BRC CLI for the past few years & have found it useful for interacting with the resource.
Recently, we noticed, quite reproducibly, that the genome metadata download is stochastic (and therefore unreliable from a reproducibility standpoint).
We initially thought caching was the only issue:
