high CPU load / visualizer

On my Raspberry Pi kraken.fm causes very high CPU loads (90% on all 4 cores). It seems to be related to the audio visualizer. I know the Raspberry is a slow computer for modern web browsers, but it still seems a waste of CPU cycle.

It seems possible to optimize the visualization. Or is it acceptable to disable it?

I think some basic visualization can be useful, like a simple VU meter. Or maybe an option to enable it (and keep it disabled by default).
