The main reason I prefer this app over QUIK is the layout, specifically the category buttons (all/unread/archived) vs having to open a menu and select from there, and the search bar at the bottom. Unfortunately, the buttons don't have this same bottom positioning, making them more of a reach to access.

A clear and concise description of what you want to happen.
Add an option to move the category buttons to the bottom with the search bar. Maybe even add an option to sort messages bottom-up, so the most recent is as the bottom within easy reach, or allow scrolling to bring the top message to the bottom of the screen.
