gitlab token ?

Hi

The documentation mentions GitHub token to avoid limitations but there is no mention of GitLab token.

Is that because it's not necessary?
Otherwise, the doc should be updated.

Ok, SoMEF can fetch GitLab metadata but is not using tokens at the moment.
process_repository.py, line 226: details = requests.get(project_api_url) — no headers, no token, no auth.

GitLab API rate limits apply immediately. Public GitLab API limits unauthenticated requests to 60 requests/hour per IP. With a token, it's 2000 requests/hour. For batch analysis (the repo has 1000+ sample outputs), hitting the limit is inevitable.

I can implement a fix, is that something you would like to add to somef ?

Yes, we should have this. Also for codeberg, which will likely happen.
