[Feature request] using an external profile as a source

ciao,
when transferring a profile from one computer to another, it may be helpful to use the plugin to browse to a folder, select the complete source profile that is not included in the current QGIS installation, and use it as the source.

Might be too complex vs what you are suggesting, but it might even make sense to have multiple users be able to:

• pull that profile from a shared location (LAN, network, eventually git etc), retrieving data-sources, plugins, other config already present in the profile
• or push, eg to add a new plugins to the list, or new data-sources
• and eventually indicate whether there seem to be new version to pull from the profile

This would be closer to what QGIS Resource Sharing does (connecting to git repos, local filesystem etc), although this other plugin only includes collections (expression, symbol, styles, processing scripts or models, not yet python expression it seems), and not plugin or data-sources lists like profile_manager.

After second thought, this is probalby what QDT Qgis Deployment Toolbelt was meant to be used for - at least pulling, eventually with data layers connections stored within qgis3.ini, rather connections.xml or qlr layer + symbology. Out of curiosity, is QDT pulling any folder directory which contains a globbed **/profile.json?

Note, this connections/data-sharing would equivalently be easy to add and sync via NextGIS Connect now that it can connect to selfhosted NextGIS Web instance
