Screen corruption using Invite Agent #355

Description

@Dimizi-fr

When connecting through MeshCentral using an Invite Agent (temporary agent), the remote desktop display becomes corrupted as soon as a graphical change occurs. The screen shows duplicated/misaligned blocks and artifacts. Using the Refresh button restores the image temporarily until the next screen update. The issue is reproducible on both physical Windows 10 machines and VMs. The problem does not occur when the MeshAgent is installed permanently on the device.

Environment:

  • MeshCentral 1.2.0
  • Chromium browser
  • Windows 10
  • Reproduced on both physical machines and virtual machines
  • Problem occurs only when using Invite / temporary agent
  • Installed MeshAgent works correctly

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Start a remote desktop session using an Invite Agent.
  2. Wait on the desktop.
  3. Open the Windows Start Menu.
  4. Screen corruption immediately appears.

Observed behavior:

  • Parts of the screen are duplicated and shifted.
  • Desktop becomes visually corrupted.
  • Manual Refresh restores the image after a few seconds.
  • Corruption returns on subsequent screen updates.

Expected behavior:

  • Desktop updates correctly without requiring manual refresh.

Additional notes:

  • Same MeshCentral server.
  • Same browser.
  • Same network.
  • Installed MeshAgent does not exhibit the issue.
  • Problem reproduced on both VM and physical Windows 10 systems.
