One use case which might be nice is: having different channels use different access modes. That is, select "isolated" vs. "terminal" vs. "replacement" on a per channel basis. I can imagine wanting to have LTS and Latest "globally" available on a developer machine, but have public preview stuff isolated. Of course, since the larger goal is to sandbox preview stuff (without going full dev container), if there's another better / different approach, that could also work. Thanks!
