Importing from GitHub Classroom skips assignments

I'm trying to import my class from GitHub classroom, but some of the assignments have a "Will Skip" tag instead of import, and there's no way for me to see why or change it to import. Any one know how to fix this?

On a separate note, if I click the checkbox next to Import, it changes to this with no way to change it back. This seems like an issue that needs to be addressed.

May I see a full screenshot of your browser window, please? You can mask out any information you don't want to make public before sharing it.

@vanpattensensei We have shipped a fix for the error messages, so if you try importing again, it will show an explanation of why some assignments are skipped.

@rongxin-liu I'm having the exact same problem with almost all of my assignments across multiple classes.

Are the repositories for those skipped assignments template repositories or not? Also, I suggest creating a brand-new organization, setting up Classroom 50 there, and importing the assignments.

They are templates, yes. I'm trying a new organization.

New organization, exactly the same. Same ones marked 'will skip'. Same one import.

@rongxin-liu I found one wasn't marked as a template and marked it and it's now showing 'import' than 'will skip', so that's likely the problem. They are using templated starter repositories but each individual assignment repo isn't marked as a template. It would be nice if it said that instead of just 'will skip' with no indication as to why

Thanks for the updates, and sorry I just realized there were color issues with the explanation text when I looked more closely at your screenshots. The explanation was right below the assignments, but it was really hard to see, so we'll fix that.
