We would like to propose extending the dosage options in the CH Core MedicationStatement profile to support additional commonly used frequency patterns. These could include concepts such as CHEMEDDosageSplit, periodic dosing, weekly schedule (dayOfWeek), and as-needed (reserve) prescriptions, among others.
This enhancement would align the FHIR-based medication representation more closely with the prescription and administration patterns typically found in practice management systems and hospital information systems.

1. Will Dosage in CH Core still be unconstrained? -> yes
2. What will be the impact to CH EMED would be, what should be converged, what dosages should be
3. Patrick Werner made a Collection of dosages https://ig.fhir.de/igs/medication/index.html, they are defined as examples and checked with FHIRPath constraints. Patrick will provide this to the european levels. Dosage in R6 has breaking changes, but it should help us in the future.

We, eHealth Suisse and DigiSanté, would like to evaluate how the eMediplan format, especially the complex dosing instructions, can be mapped in CH EMED as part of DigiSanté's eMedication project. These clarifications are planned to begin in Q2 to address exactly these questions.
