Ubuntu ships with version 3.14 https://ubuntu.com/developers/docs/reference/availability/python/ it would be good to formally support versions up to 3.14.
We should test for each of the formally supported versions and once we have a solid multi-version testing pipeline, we can discuss backward compatibility with Python < 3.11
