Potential improvements:
- In the field selection modal, reorganize fields so that they are easier to find
- shown always in the same order
- show generic fields under a generic header, e.g. host species
- clarify which taxon the selection is being made for
- possibly simplify taxon grouping
- show the fields always in the same order, so that when user moves from one unit to the next one, the fields don't change position
- make sure the field selection is saved properly, preferably to user profile
- do user testing
