On android 16, I observed that the music playback in the background hangs after some time. It is not constant sometimes faster, sometimes slower and sometimes even restarts. I see it on a google pixel 9a and a Sony Xperia 1 mk6.
I used the latest version from the play store.
I tried to disable all optimizations for network and battery and still the same. The app is allowed to run in the background.
If I reopen the app into the foreground the media resumes.
To reproduce start a song in mega, and put the app in the background. Can lock the phone but not necessarily. After a bit of time the song will stop. As the time varies it is hard to say how long to wait but I never had to wait more than 1-2 mins sometimes even faster.
Any idea why this happens?
