Great question! You don't have to worry about the teams this week and next week. These first 2 weeks will be heavy on the learning and personal upskill. Then week 3, you choose between either working on a connector alone/solo or in pairs (teams of 2).

REST API is not yet supported for this mailbox. This error can occur for sandbox (test) accounts or for accounts that are on a dedicated (on-premise) mail server.

How do we choose a proposal for the custom connnector

You can find this on the blog I shared earlier. So, after we have our session this Thursday on how you can validate your connector before you submit it, you will submit a connector proposal (the idea of the connector you want to work on) and if no one else has submitted it, you go ahead and start building.
I will provide specific instructions on this though before you start on the proposals

So let's say we chose to build a connector for ADP (or any other options we had from the Top Connector Asks). How would we go about obtaining the API information we require?

Good question @Kiveshan
First step in building a connector is to identify an external service WHICH HAS A FREE & PUBLIC API that you would like to build a connector for. We work with public & free APIs because remember at the end of the day, if you submit your connector for certification, users across the world should be able to use it for free and it needs to be accessible to everyone.

That means if the service has a public API, you should be able to find it on the research, along with its documentation to help you understand it and know it better before building the connector.

Again, here is a list of the top connector asks/ services you can build connector for:

Some other commonly used APIs, relatable to African Devs:

• Pusher
• Termii

• Twilio API
• Open trivia database API (OTDB)

  (you can confirm if they already have connectors, and if not, knock yourself out)

@juliamuiruri4 . Hey guys I've been running into this problem that can't seem to fix . The 'default' response should not have schema definition. Schemas should be defined on expected responses only.
Not too sure why this happens. The only thing I know for sure is that when I remove my responses it validates perfectly

Yes I had the same issue so I went to the swagger editor and on the responses key word you will have to rename the this name to 200 which is a response code for 🆗

If you submitted this feedback:
 When I first face the problem of failure to create a solution in Power Automate, I searched for the solution to the error on the Microsoft community platform. Most user said the bug solved itself automatically. So I had to keep trying waited for some 3 hours for it later to work. I guess that can be checked into. It's an intermittent bug.

I would really like to follow up more to see if we can help. Kindly lemme know.

I guess I submitted this bug. The error comes when you try to create a new Solution to enable sound application lifecycle management practices in a custom connector development on PowerAutomate. The bug occurs when you don't have any existing solution before. I got some feedback from the community to keep trying. The bug was not there after a few hours. After you create a single solution, you'll not face the bug again. The bug only occurs when you don't have a single existing solution.

The screenshots show the solutions tab when you already have an existing solution. Creating a solution works perfectly. Let's try to replicate the bug with an account that does not have a pre-existing solution to check whether the bug still exists. For this to be achieved, we'd need to create awareness of your new connector and you can do this by creating a sample/ use case, just to show how customers can take advantage of your connector in their solutions.

Hi @juliamuiruri4,
After importing from Postman, when configuring operations in your connector, you have the option to input default values to the input fields. This can be useful when testing the operations as it eliminates the need to constantly fill in fields, unless you want to test with different values. This way, you can spend more time debugging and checking for errors.
