Changing horizonRoll in URL parameters

Hi,

According to URL Configuration Parameters, it seem possible to correct the horizontal angle of a picture.

Url without parameters of course work.

With parameter hfov, it work too.

But horizonRoll don't.
The app display "An invalid configuration parameter was specified: horizonRoll".

What's wrong in my url ?

PS: Is there a demo that change horizonRoll and horizonPitch dynamically ?

Per the documentation you linked to, horizonRoll and horizonPitch are not in the list of URL configuration parameters; they're in the "JSON Configuration File Options" section. Therefore, they can only be configured using a JSON configuration file provided using the config parameter via the standalone viewer or via the configuration object when the API is used.

The horizon pitch and roll adjustments exist primarily to automatically level panoramas when included in Photo Sphere XMP metadata, since the typical procedure when stitching panoramas from images using software such as Hugin is to produce panoramas with level horizons. There's no demo that manually specifies the parameters. If by "dynamically" you mean you want to update the parameters after the panorama is loaded, you should use the setHorizonPitch / setHorizonRoll API methods.

In fact I search a demo like Custom controls with 2 or 4 buttons that change at least HorizonRoll, and/or HorizonPitch.
I.e. r R for increase/decrease horizontal Roll and p P for horizontal Pitch (with associated shortcuts).

It's possible to post process pitch and roll with Hugin, but it's not so easy for most users.

Here this is a 360° picture directly produced by the camera and published in Panoramax (an open source project with distributed servers who store street level imagery. Pictures are used in OpenStreetMap and other projects).
My idea is to make a POC to get these parameters… and in a near future, store them in XMP or Panoramax metadata.
So it's viewer (based on pannellum) could display correctly the picture.

It would be straightforward to adapt that example. You can add new buttons (with say, id="horizon-pitch-up" and id="horizon-pitch-down") and then add code like:

and do the same for horizonRoll. You'll also have to add "horizonPitch": 0, "horizonRoll": 0, to the viewer configuration for this to work.
