recently I installed Glances and request for the WAST (Web application security testing) report. One of the findings is that there's lots of commented lines inside the code that is not required for proper execution of the application. As I am not a developer and nothing I can do to fix the issue, is there any chance to remove commented lines related to the old code and are not a part of description? If yes, when potentially it can be implemented / released?
I would also like to ask you what's your take on this? Do you think that commented lines may allow attackers to perform actions or view data that is not intended for typical interaction with the application?

Thanks a lot,
