Copy files from one project to another project

I have a project(Project 1) that contains the project specific code and some other boiler-plate code. When I create a new project, I need to copy some of the code from project 1 to the new project. Is there a way to copy file/folder from one project to another project.

Also if possible, Will it be done in two different tmux sessions has I will be creating one tmux session for each project
