Can't add Groups to Calendar or Edit Calendar Details or add Calendar on Webpage

I'm running into three problems in trying to set up calendars

1. Why I try to edit an individual "calendar details" or "configure your calendar settings" both of those options are grayed out.

2. I am not able to select or add groups to calendar in the calendar interface even though I have two public groups with recurring events.

3. There is no Calendar in the top menu of the website page.

Could you help me solve this?

The three symptoms may share an account/site-context issue, so I would test the setup with a full administrator account before changing the calendar data.

1. If Calendar details and Configure calendar settings are greyed out, the current user likely has view or event-management permission but not calendar configuration permission. Check the user's role for the specific church/site, not only the global account role.

2. If public groups do not appear in the calendar selector, verify that the groups are attached to the same site and contain published/visible recurring events. A group being public on its own does not necessarily mean it is enabled as a calendar source. Reload the page after changing the group or calendar configuration.

3. The website top menu is separate from the calendar's internal setup. The calendar may exist but not be added as a public website page/navigation item. Check the site's page/menu editor and confirm the page is published for the viewer role.

A useful isolation test is to open the same calendar in an administrator account and check whether the disabled controls, group list, and website menu all change. If they do, it is a permission or site-scope issue. If they do not, please include the account role, site name, calendar ownership, and app version; the screenshots alone cannot distinguish permission gating from a missing data association.

My Youth Group is public with visible recurring events but I still see no option to add it to the calendar. 3. I've been looking for the option to add calendar as a public website page item. I figured out for the first two questions that I had to be a group member to be able to choose them for the public calendars. However should I be seeing a "calendar" option on the top menu of the Website editor (what I screenshotted in my last email)?
