Issue/Description:
Currently, COSMIC Player provides A–B repeat functionality but lacks any clear visual indication on the track/progress bar when this mode is active. This makes it difficult for users to understand:
- Whether A–B repeat is currently enabled
- The exact start (A) and end (B) points of the loop
- The active looping region during playback
Expected Behavior:
The track should provide a clear, intuitive visual representation of the A–B repeat state and range.
Suggested Solution:
- Display two distinct markers on the progress bar:
- A (start point): small vertical handle
- B (end point): similar handle
- Use a subtle accent-colored segment on the track to indicate the active loop range
- Tooltip for vertical handle on hover/seek (e.g., “A” and “B”)
Other Notes:
This improvement would significantly enhance usability for users relying on A–B repeat for focused listening, practice, or analysis.
