1- The communication between the DataBrowser and the DataViewer must be very intuitive (images from the DataBrowser must be easily added and removed in the DataViewer by drag and drop or double click on the name of the sequence). --> Done
2- Brightness, contrast and threshold settings should be simply adjustable by right-clicking on the displayed image (at least partly already implemented).
3- Once the list of all available images is loaded, they should appear in thumbnails and by hovering over the thumbnail with the mouse, the full name should appear.
4- The default display of the images should be as follows, 4 by 4, displaying the coronal and sagittal view at the top and the axial and 3D image at the bottom. It would be possible to click on icons to select only one, two, three or four views (which would increase the visualization of the image(s)). It would be possible to define an area with a right click to zoom in on that part and simply clicking on an icon would do a full scale reset of the zoom. The orientation convention for radio or neuro images being different, a button allowing to display one or the other could be designed ? --> Done
The aim in order to gain some space and to allow different displays such as the one having coronal, axial and sagital view next to each other, is to show adjusments tools above and the available images below the main view. The dynamics can be changed with a cursor or a numerical value on FSLeyes.
5- In case of functional image, it would be possible to have a “synchronised” mode (all views, sagittal, coronal, etc. change if we change dynamics in one). We can change the dynamics with a cursor or a numerical value. It could also be imagined to have a certain automatic running of all time images such as scanning for DTI images (automatic running on a specific slice for all directions is useful when exploring the data). The frame rate could be chosen by the user (2,4,10... images per second). --> Done
6- An integrated screenshot tool should be implemented, more like an image exporting tool (user could choose how many images he wants to display and with which slice rate)
7- The display of the images should be done per drag and drop and the user is completely free to choose which images he wants to display. Nevertheless an easy reset function to return to the default display should exist. --> Done
7- There would be a "two windows" mode, selected by an icon, where it would be possible to compare (thus with a synchronization between the two windows) two images, or image overlay.
8- It would be easy to make image overlay with simple adjustment of colors and opacities.
