I build FOSS software. My main project right now is kind, a native cross-platform Discord client written in C++ and Qt from scratch.

The official Discord client is Electron. It wraps a browser around a website and calls it an app. On a good day it idles at 300-500MB of RAM, and takes seconds to switch between channels and servers. Kind does not do that. It is a real native application, built properly, and it runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux.

I have wanted to build this for a very long time and I am finally doing it.

I'm also in the core team at PrismLauncher, maintain packages in the Arch User Repository, and have built smaller tools including DPITunnel, a hard fork of a censorship circumvention tool for Linux, and pwnedpass, a local password breach checker.
