DHT sensor

i am trying to use a DHT22 sensor and i am able to add it both as a temp sensor and humidity, but the error log states: "responded but the response was invalid" and "No Data"..
what is the response? and what should it be?

Now i have tried a DHT11 also, tried several different gpio pins and 3/5v but still no data.
Any suggestions!

Dont bother with either. I went through 10+ 11's, 22's, and a BME 280's and none of them could register humidity. I recommend getting the BME 680's. I have not had any issues. If you plan on doing more than 2 sensors, you will need to look into using the Multiplexer. the 680 can run on addresses 0x76 and 0x77. For running on 0x76, you need to wire the SDO pin to ground to get it to swap.

Thanks.. will need a multiplexer either way for that one, I'm using a 20x4 i2c panel..
The strange thing is that I have 2 systems running, one of them works with DHT11 and the other don't.
same regards the 20x4. one recognize it and are showing data, the other system don't recognize it.

I was having the same issue with a multiplexer as well. I could get the rasp pi to see both addresses but I could only ever get a single set of data. I have a theory that there has to be a specific resistance level per sensor on the pull up resistors to match the high lows of the switching on the multiplexer.
