AM2301 sensor vs AM2302 sensor

I have AM2301 temp and humidity sensor, but Terrarium PI only have AM2302 listed as supported, has anyone managed to get AM2301 working with TerrariumPI?

Hi,

I think you could use the AM2302 sensor for that. As the AM2302 and AM2301 are almost the same as a DHT11 or DHT22 which are both supported.

I do not own this kind of sensor, so I cannot test it. But give it a try, and please report back if it works. Than I update the code that the AM2301 is also available.
Downside for you is that you cannot change the hardware type of an existing sensor. So either you have to remove the old sensor and create a new one. Of just accept that the sensor type is not correct in your setup (but working).
