May I ask why the repo is pinned specifically to max v5.2 of transformers?

Would it be possible to bump this to the latest (v5.6+)?

Hello @jordanwoo-scale, it was pinned because Transformers v5 is under active development, and I expected some API changes. More recently, I tested the latest version of Transformers (v5.7), and everything works fine, so you can already use the new version.
