It starts printing at a normal speed but then slows down considerably

My printer is M02 Pro, it doesn't get recognized as /dev/usb/lp0 but as /dev/ttyACM0 instead. If I print over Bluetooth the speed varies throughout the print but it's generally fast (normal), however, when using the serial port it starts out fine and then slows down to the speed of ~2-3 lines per second. I tried playing with the baud rate but it doesn't seem to have any effect.

Tested on an M02 (T02) via USB and Bluetooth.

Just tried it with newer hardware (Pi 4 instead of Pi 3B+) and 64bit instead of 32bit OS. Now it works at consistant good speed.

Can you tell us how you did it? Like, what OS specifically and if you tested over bluetooth or serial port (usb)

Just to say, I encounter the same "problem" on Linux Mint, which is not really blocking but if someone can fix it that would still be nice.

I use phomemo-tools with a M02 PRO and cups.

I copied the files for the M02 and changed the DPI from 203 to 300 inside them, that way images fits the paper width correctly.

Also this might not be the place, but for those who struggle to add the printer because it is not autodetected like shown in the documentation, you have to set the URI as something like phomemo://YourDeviceIDWithoutColons (the ID can be found with the "bluetoothctl devices" command).

Printing via CUPS (over bluetooth as well) solves this.

What print size do you use for 300dpi, I know M02 can do 300dpi and printer quality is also good but just it scaled off width when I choose width 50mm h(any).
