What

Ship a built-in yt-dlp plugin that handles YouTube, SoundCloud, and other yt-dlp-supported URLs out of the box.

Done when

  • Plugin detects supported URLs via yt-dlp's --dump-json
  • Metadata (title, thumbnail, format options) shown in add-download dialog
  • Download progress streamed from yt-dlp stdout to the UI
  • yt-dlp binary bundled or auto-downloaded on first use
