With the UKMO migration to GitHub and the changes to the UM spack package for AM3, we will need to revisit the build for rAM3. Essential elements:
- sourcing code from GitHub instead of MOSRS. This was done for AM3 and updating to vn13.8 should pick this up for the build.
- include the changes for JULES and CABLE necessary to include CABLE in rAM3, following what is done for AM3. As long as we use the UM spack package and vn13.8 options for rAM3 in the same way we do for AM3 this should come automatically.
In summary, if we use the build from AM3 for rAM3 this should be all done (to test obviously). This can probably only be done once we update the suite to the head of the RNS trunk (it is set to work with UM 13.8).
