Release commit for v2.5.4.

Scope

• CHANGELOG entry for the two fixes merged today:
  • bank_consolidate reports succeeded when the first LLM batch fails (0 notes processed) #32 / PR fix: consolidation batch failure must not report a succeeded job #33 — consolidation batch failure must not report a succeeded job (ok/error/partial statuses, actionable failure message, queue lane phase) + startup guard LLMAAS_MAX_TOKENS < LLMAAS_CONTEXT_WINDOW;
  • UI /live: stale selectBank() response can render into the wrong space (pre-existing race) #24 / PR fix: ignore stale bank selection responses #28 (@moul) — Web UI /live ignores stale selectBank() responses.
• Bump VERSION, __version__, version assert → 2.5.4.
• Refresh stale version badge (was stuck at 2.5.1) in README.md / README.fr.md.

Patch release per the versioning doctrine (bug fixes only, no API surface change); 2.6.0 stays reserved for the graph_push server guard (PR #29).

Tests

426 passed + 1 xfailed after bump (new baseline; was 413 + 1 before today's fixes).

After merge: annotated tag v2.5.4 + GitHub release.
