### Safety and crowd control

Every devroom needs at minumum one person present wearing the blue devroom shirt. You can get them from the infodesk.
These will help building managers, video team, volunteers, staff and visitors to figure out who to talk to. This
improves response time in case you need help or there are video/other issues.
They will make you recognisable and identifiable as in charge in case of emergencies or when doing crowd control.
In the unlikely case we would need to evacuate FOSDEM, the devroom team has to lead people to safety and make sure
the devroom is empty. When at the evacuation point you will report to FOSDEM staff so a good view of the situation can be
created. This enables us to communicate a decent situation overview to the rescue services.

Devrooms tend to fill up quite a lot. Try to make sure visitors don't leave too many seats open so that as much
people as possible can attend the talks. Make sure people are not sitting on the floor all over the room.
If there is risk of overcrowding, place somebody at the door and use the full signs to control the situation. Make sure
to have some time in between talks to let people leave and enter without disturbing the speaker.

also be able to tell you were to get rid of trash at the end of the day.

indoor air breathable. Unfortunately not all rooms might have windows that open. In case you open them, make sure to
close them at the end of the day to avoid animals/birds entering the devroom.
