[RFE] Stratcon, interception scenarios for hostile ASF reinforcements #10031

Description

@DeniedExistence31

What kind of request is this?

New feature

What would you like to see?

Mechanics for player ASF intercepting hostile ASF forces in low-altitude, when the hostiles are generated for a ground scenario.

Mechanics to apply the end state of the enemy and player forces to the following ground battle without manual editing.

Why is it worth doing?

Ground maps are not optimal places for ASF vs ASF fights, and optimally you want to intercept hostile ASF before they reach the ground map to prevent them using their bombs. Presently the only way to represent intercepting hostile ASF is through fully GM means (dice rolls, custom scenarios, etc). Having an automated way for player ASF to intercept enemy ASF reinforcements when they are generated for a ground battles, both from the random events and hostile facility effects, would be a great QoL feature.

Player ASF reinforcements can already generate interception scenarios when reinforcing to an existing scenario, hostile ASF should face a similar possibility.

The best case scenario would be to have a linked ground and low-altitude map system for any ground scenarios involving ASF, but just having a separate interception scenario would go a long way.
