- Brazil (where I am from, where I did my bachelor at Universidade Federal da Bahia, and my master's degree at Universidade Estadual de Campinas)
- Northern Ireland (in Belfast when I studied at Queen's University of Belfast)
- Germany (in Aachen where I did my internship at the Fraunhofer IPT and in Karlsruhe where I was a visiting Doctoral Researcher at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology )
- Canada (completed my PhD at @uWaterloo and interned at Fraunhofer Innovation Platform for Composite Research)
