Updating of a layer

Hi there,
How can I get the system to deploy a new version of the layer?
It seems like I have to destroy the old one first to get it to redeploy.
maybe I am doing something wrong?
I have been playing with a python layer, if I can get permission to publish it, will share.

I think it was because the zip file was empty.

I am going to keep this open, even after I updated the zip file for sure, it did not republish it.

So the check if image exists should also check if the checksum matches the zip file I think.
