i build small, self-hosted things. mostly for myself, and mostly more elaborate than they strictly need to be. these days that's backend services, server plugins, and whatever infrastructure it takes to keep them running.

• server-side java, mostly paper/spigot plugins
• running my own infrastructure: kvm/lxc hosts, workers at the edge, and cheap arm boxes pushed well past their price bracket
