🥷🏽 I am a Senior Software Engineer with 9 years of experience.
🚂 At F5, I build the tools that make sense of the invisible war happening on the web. Every day, bots hammer our customers' sites — some friendly, some hostile — and my job is to turn that chaos into a story anyone can read. With Python and React, I craft the charts and tables that reveal how many bots attacked, how many we mitigated, and how many slipped through; who was good and who was bad; which were aggregators just doing their job, and which were real, legitimate humans on the other side of the screen.
🐧 Fedora is my personal OS — where I game, hack on side projects, and run AI models locally. I love well-integrated native GTK apps and, whenever I can, I prefer software that runs on my own machine. I'm right at home in the terminal, but I intentionally learn the GUI too: I want to help non-technical people feel welcome on Linux, and you can't explain a UI you never use. I believe free software is the future — which is one more reason I love working at F5, the home of NGINX.
🍎 At work I'm on macOS, living in the terminal and reaching for TUIs wherever I can — I even build my own to tame infrastructure and repetitive tasks. I carve out dedicated time to sharpen my tooling and stay fast, and weaving AI into my workflows without breaking them has been the challenge of the last few years — with exceptional results.
