@mayusi mayusi released this 18 Jun 09:16

NovaGN 1.13.0

The fork becomes its own thing. NovaGN — built on GameNative, credited as the foundation.

What's new

  • Rebrand to NovaGN — premium, minimal, single electric-indigo identity; new emblem, wordmark, banner, and launcher icon.
  • A distinct interface (not a reskin): a left source rail + feature-tag chips on game cards, a game-detail action dashboard (Launch / Make It Work / Speed / Cheats as peers), a right-side quick menu, and clean grouped settings.
  • Auto-tuner that actually fixes hard games — fixed the bug that stopped collection games (DMC HD's DMC3) from being tuned, plus new DirectX 9 / Box64 fix rungs and smarter success detection.
  • Faster, more reliable downloads — Amazon parallelism + range-resume, no more Epic batch stall, GOG streaming decompression + corruption hard-fail, and a live MB/s readout.
  • Speed power features — in-game speed hotkeys (toggle / cycle / hold-to-fast-forward) on a controller button, a wider range, and a DX12 frame cap (DX12 games were previously uncapped).
  • Cleanup — ~1000 lines of dead code removed.

Install

Download the APK below and install it. If you already have NovaGN (or the IIC build) installed, the in-app updater will offer this automatically.

Built on GameNative by utkarshdalal and the Winlator project — the foundation everything here is built on.

v1.12.9-IIC — Cheats fix + 15-game cheat library

@mayusi mayusi released this 14 Jun 16:41

GameNative (IIC) v1.12.9-IIC — Cheats fix + 15-game cheat library

Fixes the Cheats tab crashing the app. Pressing the "Cheats" chip in the in-game Trainer used to crash GameNative instantly — that's fixed.

Cheats for popular games are here. The cheat library now covers 15 popular games with one-tap guided cheats, including:

  • Devil May Cry HD Collection — Lots of Red Orbs, Infinite Vitality, Infinite Devil Trigger (works for DMC1/2/3)
  • Skyrim SE, Terraria, Cuphead, Dead Cells, Undertale, Vampire Survivors, Slay the Spire, Binding of Isaac, Cult of the Lamb, Brotato, and more

Cheat ANY game — even games without a pre-made table. The Memory tab has a new "How to cheat any game" guide: read your health/gold/ammo, scan, change it, narrow down, freeze. More games get added over the air automatically.

Includes the earlier game-launch fix (speed-hack no longer breaks launches) and everything from the Trainer + in-app updater.

If you're on v1.12.6+, update in-app: System → Settings → IIC Edition → Check for updates.

Single-player only. Cheats can get you banned in online games.

Built with assistance from Claude (Anthropic).

v1.12.8-IIC — Fixes games not launching

Choose a tag to compare

@mayusi mayusi released this 14 Jun 16:00

GameNative (IIC) v1.12.8-IIC — Fixes games not launching

This fixes games that stopped launching (black screen / crash back to the menu) in v1.12.5–v1.12.7. The cause was the speed-hack component being active for every game; it now only loads when you actually turn speed-hack on, so normal launches work again. If your games (or a collection like Devil May Cry HD Collection) stopped working, this release fixes it.

Speed hack still works fully when you enable it in the in-game Trainer.

Everything else (the in-game Trainer, in-app updater, storage fixes) is included. If you're on v1.12.6+, you can update in-app (System → Settings → IIC Edition → Check for updates).

Single-player only. Cheats, speed hacks, and macros can get you banned in online games.

Built with assistance from Claude (Anthropic).

v1.12.7-IIC — Critical: fixes games not launching

Choose a tag to compare

@mayusi mayusi released this 14 Jun 15:26

GameNative (IIC) v1.12.7-IIC — Critical fix

Fixes games not launching. v1.12.5/v1.12.6 had a bug where the speed-hack component broke the timing path for every Windows game, so games would crash instantly on launch (or "not even try to run"). This release fixes that — games launch normally again.

Also fixes several external / SD-card storage bugs:

  • Enabling external storage no longer wipes your chosen SD-card path (installs were silently falling back to internal storage).
  • A game that was only partially moved off internal-emulated storage no longer gets stuck unmigrated forever — it now retries.
  • The startup storage migrations no longer race each other.

Everything from the trainer + in-app updater releases is included. If you're already on v1.12.6, you can update in-app (System → Settings → IIC Edition → Check for updates).

Single-player only. Cheats, speed hacks, and macros can get you banned in online games.

Built with assistance from Claude (Anthropic).

v1.12.6-IIC — In-app updater

Choose a tag to compare

@mayusi mayusi released this 14 Jun 15:02

GameNative (IIC) v1.12.6-IIC — In-app updater

You can now update GameNative IIC from inside the app — no more downloading APKs by hand. When a new version is out, you'll get a one-tap "Update now" prompt with the patch notes, and the app verifies the download (checksum + signing key) before installing.

This is the last update you'll need to install manually. From here on, updates are one-tap in-app (System -> Settings -> IIC Edition -> Check for updates, or the prompt on launch).

Includes everything from v1.12.5 — the full in-game Trainer (memory cheats, per-game cheat tables, speed hack, input macros/turbo) — plus the gamepad permission hardening.

Single-player only. Cheats, speed hacks, and macros can get you banned in online games.

Not affiliated with or submitted to upstream GameNative. Built with assistance from Claude (Anthropic).

v1.12.5-IIC — In-game Trainer

Choose a tag to compare

@mayusi mayusi released this 14 Jun 14:32

GameNative (IIC) v1.12.5-IIC — In-game Trainer

A personal fork of GameNative for running Windows games on Android handhelds. Installs alongside the official GameNative (package app.gamenative.iic).

New: in-game Trainer (open the QuickMenu during a game → "Trainer")

A full, root-free trainer with four capabilities:

  • Memory cheats — a Cheat-Engine-style value scanner that runs inside the Wine/Box64 process and reads/writes the game's own memory (no root, no ptrace). Scan for a value, narrow it down, and freeze it.
  • Per-game cheat tables — pre-made one-tap cheats for supported games (seeded with Hollow Knight, Stardew Valley, Hades). A guided flow walks you through each cheat. Tables auto-update over the air, so more games get added without an app update.
  • Speed hack — a game-speed multiplier (0.25×–4×) for fast-forward or slow-motion, applied through the Wine timing path.
  • Input macros / turbo — turbo-fire (per-button, configurable rate) and assignable macro presets, handled by the gamepad layer.

All four are off by default and enable per-feature; the engine only loads when you turn it on, so there's zero overhead otherwise. Speed hack and macros take effect when you next launch a game.

Single-player only. Using cheats, speed hacks, or macros in online games can get you banned. This is for offline/single-player use.

Also in this release

  • Gamepad shared-memory hardening (owner-only permissions on the controller state files).

Not affiliated with or submitted to upstream GameNative. Built with assistance from Claude (Anthropic).

v1.12.4-IIC — Session feedback round-trip

Choose a tag to compare

@mayusi mayusi released this 14 Jun 04:17

GameNative (IIC) v1.12.4-IIC

A personal fork of GameNative for running Windows games on Android handhelds, with the auto-tuner and per-game fixes. Installs alongside the official GameNative (package app.gamenative.iic).

This release

  • Session feedback round-trip — when a game session ends, the fork now sends the session's average FPS and a real stability rating to the Is It Compatible? companion app, so it can pre-fill your journal automatically.
  • Honest stability — stability is now derived from actual frame-pacing steadiness (FPS variance), not just average FPS. A game that hits a high average but stutters is correctly flagged, in both the session feedback and the auto-tuner results.

Requires the Modern variant (Android 10+, arm64). Not affiliated with or submitted to upstream GameNative.

Built with assistance from Claude (Anthropic).
