Maybe something about strict encapsulation? No monkey patching of other libraries (built-in or 3rd party), no messing with configurations (including logging) that is not specific to workhorse.

All of those are good points. I was hoping we could avoid writing down all the stuff we don't like about Celery and instead focus on the stuff we do want workhorse to do :)

(also, hoping minimal magic covered monkey patching, messing with logging etc.)
