+changed code.
+
+Optimize for high-signal findings. Return no findings when the code is
+idiomatic enough, the changed behavior is adequately tested for its risk, or a
+concern would require speculation. This is not a general policy, architecture,
+security-audit, or formatting reviewer.
+
+Review for these Python invariants:
+
+- Errors and exceptions: failures raise or propagate a meaningful, typed
+  exception; no bare `except:` or catch-all `except Exception` that silently
+  swallows; no control flow that reports a real error as success. Cleanup that
+  must run on failure uses `try/finally` or a context manager.
+- Resource management: files, sockets, subprocesses, database/HTTP sessions,
+  and locks are released deterministically (`with` / context managers), not
+  left to the garbage collector, including on error paths.
+- Correctness traps: no mutable default arguments (`def f(x=[])`); no reliance
