thanks for iterating on this!

Some notes / thoughts

  • main page
    • links in light-mode look slightly easier to read than links in current light-mode
    • is this starting to look too much like shadCN?
    • I miss the hero splash and animated gradient
    • dark mode
      • I miss how dark the dark background is
      • text contrast is worse?
      • some layout may be better, but seem feels.. less fun? how do we balance improvements of some layout without losing the fun?
      • I should add more to the Projects using... list, because I can now link to optro.ai
      • Dependencies worth looking at probably needs more explanation (why are they worth looking at?) I think also we'd want to call out more libraries, because the community members do really good work ( @nickschot's ember-mobile-menu (used in the docs), @ijlee2 (ember-container-query (how is there no native JS API for this yet?))

Overall I like the direction.

some thoughts / questions:

  • can the light effect through water be animated?
  • is the constrast ratio sufficient (gray text on gray background looks like maybe needs updating?) (same with blue/purple text on the bottom)
  • is that bottom thing a marquee? if so, I love it
  • something feels off about the bigger text things on the right hand side under the calls to action (opposite the "Building on the backs of giants" thing)

💯 excited to see more

that's the plan, webgl shader :)
looking at these for a jumping off point

contrast could be bumped up a touch yeah

is that bottom thing a marquee? if so, I love it

yeaaah it is https://ember-fast-marquee.com - might be a good enough reason for me to revisit this and modernise it

something feels off about the bigger text things on the right hand side under the calls to action (opposite the "Building on the backs of giants" thing)

I'll play with it, was hastily put together in an hour or two tonight.
