Resolves #63 and #58
Upgraded the package to support Capacitor v8 compatibility, following the instructions listed in the Capacitor v8 upgrade documentation.
Mostly, this upgrade consisted of upgrading various versions to the minimum required version for Capacitor 8.
This upgraded also included a few updates to the
build.gradlefile fixing deprecated syntax + Proguard file reference that throw warnings with Android Gradle Plugin v8, and erros for AGP v9 and 10.
